As soon as I saw this recipe, I knew what I was making for dinner! It’s even better the next day!

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chops on both sides and set aside.

In the same pan, cook the onions and garlic until translucent.

Add the flour to make a roux, stirring for one minute.

Gradually add the milk and chicken broth, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat.

Place half of the potatoes in a casserole dish. Top with half of the sauce and cheese.
