“The Ultimate Roast Turkey: Classic American Holiday Feast”🐓

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Turkey:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Rinse the turkey inside and out, then pat dry with paper towels.

3. Mix butter, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried herbs. Rub this mixture all over the turkey, under and over the skin.

2️⃣ Prepare the Stuffing:

1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add onion, carrot, celery, and garlic. Sauté until softened.

2. Add the bread cubes, salt, pepper, and herbs. Mix well.

3. Gradually add the broth until the mixture is moist but not soggy.

4. Stuff the turkey cavity with the stuffing (do not overfill).

3️⃣ Roast the Turkey:

1. Place the turkey in a large roasting pan, cover loosely with aluminum foil for the first hour.

2. Roast about 13–15 minutes per pound (450 g).

Example: 10 lbs turkey → approx. 2 hours 15 minutes.

3. Remove the foil after the first hour to allow the skin to brown and crisp.

4. Baste the turkey occasionally with pan juices to keep it moist.

4️⃣ Make the Gravy:

1. In a small saucepan, heat the pan drippings and stir in the flour. Cook briefly.

2. Gradually add broth, whisking until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.

5️⃣ Serve:

Let the turkey rest 20 minutes before carving to retain juices.

Serve with stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and gravy.
