Envelope Roast

Easy, Flavor-Packed Dinner: Envelope Roast Recipe

When you need a no-fuss, no-fail dinner that tastes like it came from a country kitchen, Envelope Roast is the answer. With just a few pantry staples—often in the form of seasoning packets or “envelopes”—you can create a fork-tender roast that’s bursting with flavor and perfect for Sunday dinners or meal prepping for the week.

What Is Envelope Roast?

The name comes from the use of three seasoning envelopes: commonly dry ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, and Italian dressing mix. Combined with a beef roast and a splash of water or broth, these little packets work magic during a slow roast, creating a savory, rich gravy that infuses every bite with flavor.
