Buttermilk panna cotta with lavender honey and lime curd

Oh dear. I’ve been sitting in front of my laptop for a solid half hour now, staring at a blank Word document. I can’t think of the right words for today’s post. My head is as empty as the squeezed lime over there on the kitchen table. And as soon as I try to coax an idea from the gray matter between my ears, a voice in my head whines: “Are you crazy? I’m on summer break and lying by the pool! Just think of something yourself!”

It’s humiliating to get such a kick in the ass from your own brain. But I’m going to get even with that stupid brain! I’m just not going to tell it where I put the remote. It’s going to look pretty stupid tonight when it tries to watch the umpteenth rerun of “Monk.”
