Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Bombs: The Ultimate Snack, Appetizer, or Party Treat
If you love pizza but want it in a fun, bite-sized form, Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Bombs are the perfect solution. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and packed with melty cheese and savory pepperoni, these little pockets of goodness are ideal for snacks, appetizers, or party treats.
Ingredients
To make these irresistible pizza bombs, you’ll need:
Pizza dough – 1 lb (store-bought or homemade)
Pepperoni slices – 20–30, depending on size
Mozzarella cheese – 2 cups, shredded
Marinara sauce – for dipping
Olive oil – 1–2 tbsp
Italian seasoning or dried oregano – optional, for extra flavor
Egg wash – 1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water (for golden tops)
Instructions
Preheat and prepare
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the dough
Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle or large circle about ¼ inch thick. Cut the dough into small squares, roughly 3×3 inches.
Fill the pizza bombs
On each square, place a slice or two of pepperoni and a generous pinch of shredded mozzarella. Fold the dough over the filling, pinch the edges to seal, and shape into a small ball.
Brush and season
Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil or egg wash, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning or dried oregano if desired.
Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy. The cheese inside should be melty and delicious.
Serve
Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping. These pizza bombs are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven, though they can be reheated later with ease.
